Fruit Juices


You will find these cold juices to be delicious and easy mixers for use in preparing Metamucil as a part of your dietary routine.
  • Orange juice

Iced Tea


1 cup cold brewed or instant tea
  • 1 rounded teaspoon Metamucil Unflavored Coarse Milled Original Texture or Metamucil Unflavored Smooth Texture Sugar Free
Mix Metamucil with iced tea and stir or shake thoroughly. Serve with plenty of ice cubes, and add sugar, lemon, or mint leaves to taste. If you prefer an orange twist, try preparing iced tea using 1 rounded tablespoon of Metamucil Orange Smooth Texture or 1 rounded teaspoon of Metamucil Orange Smooth Texture Sugar Free.

Lemonade

  • 1 cup of your favorite lemonade

  • 1 cup canned, prepared, or homemade fruit punch

Mix Metamucil into cool fruit punch and add several ice cubes. Garnish with your favorite sliced fruits, including lime, orange, or lemon slices.

For a tasty orange twist, you may want to prepare The 1-2 Punch using either 1 rounded tablespoon of Metamucil Orange Smooth Texture or 1 rounded teaspoon of Metamucil Orange Smooth Texture Sugar Free.

  • 1 teaspoon sugar or 1 packet artificial sweetener (optional)

Orange
  • 1 cup low-fat milk

Honey Banana
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 medium peeled banana
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 rounded teaspoon Metamucil Unflavored Coarse Milled Original Texture or Metamucil Unflavored Smooth Texture Sugar Free
  • Crushed or cubed ice (1/2 to 3/4 cup)
Puree all ingredients well in a blender. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon and enjoy this tasty shake.

Cranberry-Orange Surprise

  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

Add cold juices to a glass, sprinkle in Metamucil Powder, and stir until well mixed. Serve cold, over ice, with a slice of fresh orange.

Pour juices into a glass along with a few ice cubes. Add Metamucil and stir briskly. A great breakfast-time refresher!

Combine cocoa mix, coffee, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a glass. Blend in milk, Metamucil, and ice cubes, if desired. Stir well and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream or a dash of cinnamon.

  • Crushed or cubed ice

  • Crushed or cubed ice (1/3 to 1/2 cup)

  • Crushed or cubed ice (1/2 cup)
Blend yogurt, banana, juices, and ice until ice is crushed. Add Metamucil and blend until mixed in. Garnish with your favorite tropical fruit!

  • Crushed or cubed ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until ice is crushed.
