This Really Works

I couldn’t believe it. My physician said, “Whatever you’re doing, do it for the rest of your life because it’s working!” How cool is that?
The Metamucil 30-Day Difference wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be. I did have to eliminate some bad habits and create some good ones, but I did it! I survived. I have to say I even enjoyed it: running in the morning, being creative in the kitchen, sharing what I’ve learned with others. I didn’t even know I had it in me.
I plan to take the advice of my physician and make my new healthy habits and Metamucil a part of my daily life. For me, this is just the beginning. |

Manageable Changes, Real Results!

I did it! I made manageable but important changes with the Metamucil 30-Day Difference. I watched what I ate and added movement to my daily routine. I made an effort to add fiber to my diet. I drank Berry Burst! Metamucil in the mornings and in the evenings. Best of all, I felt a big surge in my energy level as a result of the 30-Day Difference with Metamucil and Core Performance.
It was a matter of making better choices. For my 30 days, I made good nutritional choices even though I didn’t always want to. But it was all worthwhile! Feeling this success, I am encouraged and empowered to continue these new habits. I'm focused on good choices with the expectations of seeing even more improvement in my overall health in the next 30, 60, 90 days.
In addition to drinking Metamucil, I found I could increase my fiber through reading the labels. I found a breakfast cereal and tortillas with a lot of fiber, too. And it was so easy: I simply had to read the labels and become a better consumer. The Metamucil 30-Day Difference helped me realize that.
So, for the next 30 days, I'm increasing my Metamucil to three times a day and stepping up my activity. I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with the knowledge I’ve gained from the 30-Day Difference. There are still areas to improve, but I am moving toward a more beautiful heart each day. Feeling Good Is Within My Grasp

Nobody’s perfect. I’ve come to grips with that. But it is within my power to make lifestyle changes for the better! At the end of the program, I feel empowered and committed to stay on track even though things have been a little crazy around here lately with holiday parties, relatives coming to visit, and my art show opening.
So the 30-Day Difference means this to me:
- It’s about eating one or two pieces of Halloween candy instead of not counting.
- It’s about skipping the wine and cheese at my art opening reception.
- It’s about having a salad with dinner as often as possible.
- It’s about reading labels on food and looking for better choices.
I plan to continue taking my Metamucil and exercising. It’s good for me and it matters for the health of my family. One big change that I’ve noticed is that sugar tastes really yucky to me now! It’s so amazing. It proves to me that I really didn’t need it. I’d like others to try the healthy changes of the Metamucil 30-Day Difference, too, and experience the transformation. It’s really changed the way I view providing for my family’s nutritional needs. And it was only 30 days! I’d really like to encourage everyone to try it.
I’m not perfect. I don’t do everything I should every day, but I think the key is to stay on the right road. Just keep moving ahead day by day. Remember every day you have another choice, another chance, to eat right, exercise, and enhance your health and your family’s. |

A Life-Affirming Change

I can really say I feel the difference. On the Metamucil 30-Day Difference, I’d say my diet has been about 90 percent healthier. I ramped up my fiber consumption. In addition to taking Metamucil twice a day, I concentrated on eating an apple every evening as a snack and eating more cruciferous vegetables.
Working out three times a week was difficult at times, but it’s made a big difference. Because of a bad accident nearly four years ago, I have some lingering injuries that restricted my movement. The funny thing was, it became easier for me to climb stairs and walk long distances the more I worked out. Since I live in a huge city and don’t own a car, I’ve always done a great deal of walking. Now, though, it’s not unusual for me to walk the 2 or more miles when doing errands. I can’t say I don’t feel tired when I get home, but I can say I really enjoy the physical exercise! I can just feel it helping my heart and strengthening my legs! It’s interesting that my fatigue levels seem to have decreased even though I’m exercising more.
The weather is lovely for walking now here. As it turns colder, my game plan is to use the treadmill to continue my commitment to better health. Long-term, I’ve decided to focus on fish, chicken, and turkey and have beef or pork on occasion. I perfected a turkey chili, so eating less red meat has become easier for me.
The Metamucil 30-Day Difference has been a life-affirming experience, and I look forward to my own personal 60- and 90-day challenges as I continue! I’ve learned along the way to allow myself an occasional treat and not to be so hard on myself if I falter a bit. The important thing is to pay attention. It matters. And to keep choosing wisely. Metamucil is my partner in my continuing evolution to a healthy lifestyle. I’m on my way.
